Natalie Osborne Smith, EdD

Dr. Natalie Osborne Smith, known as Dr. Ozzy, is a proud graduate of Lexington School District One. After attending Lexington Elementary, Intermediate, Middle and High schools, Dr. Osborne Smith attended Presbyterian College for her undergraduate degree, University of South Carolina for her Masters, and Concordia University for her Doctorate.

Dr. Ozzy is honored to currently serve as an Academic Dean at Meadow Glen Middle.  Her primary role is working with scheduling, testing, and professional development.  Prior to being an administrator at Meadow Glen Middle, Dr. Ozzy worked as an assistant administrator at Lexington Middle, a Technology Integration Specialist at Pleasant Hill Elementary, and a Spanish teacher at Pelion Middle.

In her spare time, Dr. Ozzy used to play ice hockey, but now she has moved on to a less dangerous pursuit - bird watching! She has close to 200 birds on her life list! Dr. Ozzy also loves to travel, hike, and mountain bike whenever she can.

Finally, Dr. Ozzy believes that all things can be done with grit, passion, and persistence. She is excited to show her faculty and students that even a "Dean" can learn to dance when the challenge is approached with grit!  She welcome the opportunity to raise money for Lexington One students through her participation in this year’s fundraiser!
