Amanda Hajji

Amanda Hajji is in her 6th year teaching at Lexington High School where she teaches French, French Business and Yearbook at the Center of International Business and World Languages. A graduate of Lexington High School, she went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in French and Education from the College of Charleston and a Diplôme Universitaire from the University of La Rochelle, France. She is currently working on her Masters in Applied Linguistics through the University of Massachusetts Boston.

Passionate about languages and teaching, Amanda has recently taken on the role as President of the South Carolina Foreign Language Teacher’s Association and a position on the board of South Carolina Scholastic Press Association.

A rookie dancer, Amanda enjoys cheering on her students, spending time with family and friends, traveling abroad, and being active in her free time. Her hobbies include hiking, kickboxing and learning Levantine Arabic. As a Lexington One employee, Amanda was flattered to be asked to be a part of the Educational Foundation’s fundraiser this year!
